It gets far too much stick from reviewers/critics and because of this I went into the movie expecting to be disappointed, which I wasn't. 04 December 2017 10256 Taj Mahal Posted by Admin With the surprise re-release of the LEGO Taj Mahal, fans have been wondering why The LEGO Group settled on this particular classic set, and whether anything has been changed. Overall, I found the movie flawed in parts and it was more geared towards children, but ultimately it was still entertaining. The morales of the story are a little cliched a familiar also, with its classic son and father broken relationship plot. Some of the jokes land, some of them don't.
The dialogue is a little cheesy and slapstick which I found tiring after a while but that's not to say it isn't funny.
I think Younger fans will enjoy this more than the adults. Following Lego Batman with Lego Ninjago was always going to have an anti-climax feel to it. In the meantime you can check out the currently available LEGO Ninjago sets at the Online LEGO Shop. The studio really should be aiming to make them bigger and better with easy passing movie otherwise the franchise will run out of steam. The LEGO BrickHeadz line continues with a number of new characters, including the 41598 LEGO BrickHeadz The Flash, 41599 LEGO BrickHeadz Wonder Woman, 41600 LEGO BrickHeadz Aquaman, 41601 LEGO BrickHeadz Cyborg, 41602 LEGO BrickHeadz Rey, and 41603 LEGO BrickHeadz Kylo Ren. One of its main problems is that it now feels a little repetitive and stale after the previous 2 movies. The villain has some good moments with humour that was to my taste. At 1,336 pieces, this thing is going to feel like an uber gift. The animation in the action scenes can contain a little too much judder but other than that I have no complaints on the look of this movie. The LEGO Star Wars Imperial Light Cruiser is the big set of the year. The film looks fantastic, I watched it in 4k and the colours and animation look magnificent. And while 2017 has shown that LEGO is serious about bringing fans and community members into the equation for set creation, tons of builds still fail to get the go-ahead. The Lego Ninjago Movie is the worst of the three, but it's really not that bad. Lego Batman wasn't as good but was still pretty solid.
